That information will help the platform know if you a member or not when trying to login. We compute and store your registration history (so that you can better follow your account and we can also better support you in case of an account issue. When you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address provided is also stored in order to send you updates notifications.

Newsletter and others emailing actions are done via our email address which based on gmail service. The communication between the server software (backend) and the database is local so that the database is not directly accessible from external. We try to do our possibe to secure these information. This is a contract between you (the customer) and us (CloudMentor@Scale). It describes the services we will provide to you, how we will work together, and other aspects of our business relationship. Please read these customer terms of service carefully before taking any actions or using any services on our platform. We have tried to make it as easy to understand, and as short, as possible; we want to make it possible for you to read, and understand, these terms before using and during the usage of our services.

These terms are so important that we cannot provide our products and services to you unless you agree to them. By using the services provided by our platform, whether free or through a subscription, you are agreeing to these terms.

We periodically update these terms. So we invite you to check this section periodically. Also, when we do, we may send you a notification through an email or putting a banner on this website home page.

Throughout these terms, “we” and “our” refer to the staff, and content creators of CloudMentor@Scale, while “you” refers to individual subscribers and users. Please, note that, regarding the “group” type account, by subscriber we refer to the group owner (the person who created the account).

General Commercial Terms

CloudMentor@Scale offers access to material that, to the best of our ability, advances the careers and community of IT people. The kinds and amount of material available to you are described on the website. We may decide to offer any individual free access to any subscription level at our discretion.

We attempts to make this material available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, barring preannounced downtime for regular maintenance, but no guarantee is expressed or implied about site or material availability.

We cannot guarantee the permanence or the performance of the platform. Neither party will be responsible for failure or delay of performance. Each party will use reasonable efforts to mitigate the effect of a force majeure event.

Access to the service may be interrupted for reasons of maintenance and updating and in the event of emergencies.

We cannot be held liable for any interruption of the service irrespective of the cause, duration or frequency, and shall not give the User any right to an indemnity.

You acknowledge that you use the service, but a “bug” on our Platform could cause you to lose some of your data, alter them or expose them. However, we agree to do all that is required to recover them as far as possible and to guarantee you access to the platform as quickly as possible.

Subscriptions and Payments

Based on the subscriptions plan chosen, you will have to pay for continuing using the service. Once you create your account, you will receive later (before the expiration of your account) an email that will tell you to connect to your account and proceed the payment. The email will just alert you about the availability of your invoice. The payment details should only be considered under your account information. You will have a deadline to do the payment. If not done until deadline is reached, you account will be disabled without any notification at anytime. Once your account is disabled, you must contact us (by email) for support before doing any others actions on the platform.

We does not offer refunds, even if you stop using the service during your term of subscription. The subscription cost is fixed for the term of service. The cost of a subscription may change on renewal.

You can extend your subscription period (for a given account/email) by choosing any other available plan. To do this, on the registration page, you must fill the form's email field with the email address of the account your want to extend. Once you subscribe to a given plan, you can't change it. In case you want to change the current account duration to higher one, you may first contact us and we will analyse your request.

Acceptable Use

You may not use our service if it you are legally prohibited from doing so by the laws where you reside or are currently located.

You will not use any automated process that accesses our services in a way that damages our ability to serve other subscribers.

You will notify us as soon as possible of any breach in your account.

Access to the material is made available to the subscriber only; you may not share any material obtained through a paid subscription plan with others, nor may you share your user account with others so they can use the service. The sharing of information obtained through your subscription service will be cause to immediately terminate you subscription without a refund.

You may not modify the material as it is presented.

Suitability of Use

CloudMentor@Scale is an online learning platform. The service is provided as-is, in good faith, with the expectation that they will be helpful both to our paid subscribers and free users. However, it is possible that you do not, ultimately, find the service useful, or you find consequential or inconsequential mistakes in the material as provided. On being notified of such mistakes, we will attempt to correct the mistake or remove the mistaken material from the service.

Your sole remedy in the case of such mistakes, or disagreement over such material, is to stop using the service provided.
